Farewell Retrospect

Retrospect Dry Goods is closing its doors after helping nostalgic dreams come true for Monument Shoppers for three years.

We heard the most disheartening news today; our favorite shop, next to Frog on a Limb of course, is closing its doors after three years of bringing nostalgic dreams to life for Monument shoppers.

Retrospect Dry Goods has begun to reduce prices now so Christmas shoppers can take advantage of great deals in time for those special gifts like Bettie Page posters, Rockem Sockem Robots, Vintage Dresses, old time sodas and so much more from the childhood generations of the 30s to the 80s. We are going to miss the Tiki Takular Beach Party and Car Show next summer and all of Lisa’s creative ideas and fun new items she used to get in her store.

We love how Retrospect was always a complement to our primitive crafts. Both shops invoke childhood memories and feelings of simpler times. Monument just won’t be the same without Retrospect Dry Goods.

Jessica and I are sorry to see Retrospect Dry Goods go, but we wish Lisa the best of luck with her future endeavors and pray for happiness for her and her family.
